Communication through Collage Conversations
This is more than a simple art activity. It’s a method of improving communication utilizing magazine images cut and pasted into a collage format to encourage reminiscence and interaction with persons with dementia. The Collage Communication Technique (CCT) is primarily a one on one activity but also effective in reminiscence groups dependent on the abilities of the participants.
Regular sessions commonly result in reducing depression and anxiety and decrease bouts of difficult behavior; often improving cognitive thinking and hand/eye motor coordination.
We offer group seminars or individual training sessions both in person and online.
